Junior Program for 2012

 

Southern Table Tennis will run a junior coaching program on Tuesday nights during all school terms from 7.00 pm to 8.30 pm for the year 2012.  For those children who are interested we will also be running a snakes and ladders style competition in term 2 and a team based competition in term 4 which will run alongside the coaching program on Tuesday nights.  Junior players are also welcome to participate in any other activities conducted by Southern Table Tennis.

 

The Junior Coaching Program

The junior coaching program is held on Tuesday nights during all school terms and takes place between 7.00 pm and 8.30 pm at our 11 table stadium which is on States Rd, MORPHETT VALE.  These sessions are a fun introduction to table tennis using a combination of free play, coaching and assorted games.  They are suitable for children 10 years and older of all standards.  The first session is free and we lend out bats to use so come and have a try.

 

Snakes and Ladders Junior Competition Term 2

This competition will take place on Tuesday nights between 7.00 pm and 9.00 pm and Players will get 3 singles matches and a doubles match each night.  The final format for the competition will depend on the number of entries.  Registration forms will be available towards the end of term 1.

 

Junior Team Competition Term 4

This competition will take place on Tuesday nights between 7.00 pm and 9.00 pm and requires players to register as individuals.  We will then attempt to make up teams of equal strength from the entries received.  Registration forms will be available towards the end of Term 3.
